Administered by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services, this program was created to enhance employment opportunities and to meet the training needs of existing and new businesses in the state.
The program gives priority to training for jobs that offer wages equal to or greater than the State Average Weekly Wage and benefits such as vacation, sick leave, and health insurance coverage
Maximum Funds
The application process is short and businesses may be asked to obtain letters of support from the Uinta County Commissioners or local economic development entity. Fund amounts are based on post-training wage but will not exceed $2,000 per employee.
