  • When are the polls open?
    Polls are open on election day from 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM.
  • What if I’m not registered to vote?
    You may register and vote at the polls on election day. You must present photo identification and provide a valid Wyoming driver’s license number or your social security number if you do not have a valid Wyoming driver’s license. If you have neither, the state will assign you a unique identifying number. Allow extra time if you need to register, change party affiliation or change address.
  • Can I take a Sample Ballot with me to vote?
    Yes, voters may use written or printed papers to assist in marking their ballots.
  • How do I know where to vote?
    Call the County Clerk at (307) 783-0306 or toll-free from Bridger Valley at (307) 782-7432 x306.
  • Do I get time off work to vote?
    Any employee who does not have three or more consecutive nonworking hours between 7 AM and 7 PM is entitled to an hour away from work to vote. The time is to be at the convenience of the employer.
  • What if I won’t be in town on election day?
    Absentee ballots may be obtained by calling the County Clerk or by going to the County Clerk office at 225 9th Street in Evanston. All absentee ballots must be returned to the County Clerk no later than election day.
  • How can I get election results?
    The quickest source is on this page. Local radio stations will broadcast results. The County Clerk will post results in the courthouse election night. The newspapers will print results.
